30 Day Challenge Day 17 (8/17/19)-A quote to live by!

A Quote I live by...
If you know me, you know I love quotes. I don't know why, but I love them so much, I collect them. I see power in them, wisdom and I can't help but take note. I guess that's why this particular post was hard, not because I couldn't find a quote, but because I had to pick one! Even as I write this, I fear that I've over looked a handful of quotes I should be mentioning but will completely over look! But, I digress. There are too many amazing quotes to chose with so I'm just going to embrace the first two quotes that came to mind and go with it!
"Just remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter then you think." -Winnie the Pooh
This is one of my all time favorite quotes. I remember the first time I heard it, it was like a light bulb went off in my head, realization and meaning swept over over me and it has stuck with me ever since. I guess the meaning it has for me lives in my low self esteem. It's the perfect, loving reminder that we don't see ourselves as we are. We tend to see ourselves as less then others see us and I need to be easier on myself. Being your own biggest and toughest critic has it's pros (pushing yourself, challenging you, ect) but it can also be the thing that gets in your way...and that tends to be what happens with me.
"I do not regret the things I've done, but those I did not do." -Empire Records
This was the second quote that popped into my head. I'm not sure who said/wrote these brilliant words originally, but I do know that they did appear in Empire Records ( one of my all time favorite movies). This was another spark of "Yes!!!" as I feel as if my biggest regrets have been the opportunities I never took advantage of. It is this quote that goes through my head when I am forced with making a decision.
So...those are two quotes that I live by and think of often. I'm sure there are others, and maybe one day I'll share those with you, too, but what I want to know is what quote do you live by? Let us know in the comments!
